Rainy Romance: A Glencoe Coupleshoot Adventure

Glencoe is a stunningly beautiful place in the Scottish Highlands, with rugged hills, sparkling lochs, and ancient ruins. But on this particular day, it was also very wet. As a photographer, I'm used to dealing with the different types of the Scottish weather, but I have to admit I was a little worried about how my coupleshoot with Marcel and Mary Anne would turn out!
Marcel and Mary Anne had chosen Glencoe to celebrate their seven-year anniversary, and they were determined to make the most of it, no matter what the weather did. When I met them at the parking lot of the Kingshouse Hotel, they were both wearing rain jackets, waterproof trousers, and sturdy boots. Ready for an adventure!
I liked their spirit, and I suggested we just head up to the first location, and hoped the rain would eventually stop. Marcel and Mary Anne were game, so we set off, following a trail that wound through the heather. The rain was coming down pretty hard by this point, but we were all laughing and chatting as we trudged through the mud.
Marcel and Mary Anne were clearly very much in love, and I felt privileged to be a part of their anniversary celebration.
While we were heading to Glen Etive, the rain began to ease off a little, and the clouds started to break up. We caught glimpses of the surrounding peaks, and even a little bit of blue sky. It was as if the weather gods had decided to give us a break!
"Let's get some shots here," I said, gesturing to the couple. They posed for me, huddled close together, their faces glowing with happiness. I took some close-ups, some wide shots, and some panoramas, trying to capture the beauty of the place and the love between them.
As I snapped away, the sky continued to transform, turning from grey to gold. The rain had stopped completely now, and the air was so fresh and clean that I could feel it tingling in my lungs. It was one of those moments when you feel so alive and so grateful!

When the sun slowly began to set behind the mountains, we grabbed the lanterns. This gave such a magical vibe! As if we were in the middle of a scene from Outlander.
By the time we finished up, we were all soaked to the skin and a little bit muddy, but we didn't care. We had created something special together, something that would last long after the rain had dried up and the wind had died down.
As we walked back to the car, I felt a sense of deep satisfaction. I had been able to capture a moment of love and adventure and joy. It was a coupleshoot to remember, and I know that Marcel and Mary Anne will cherish these photos for years to come.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet to guys and I hope to see you again soon!
