Eloping in the Elements on Isle of Skye

Mathijs and Freya's elopement at The Quiraing on the mystical Isle of Skye in Scotland perfectly encapsulated the essence of love, nature, and resilience. Despite the moody weather and unpredictable rain, this extraordinary couple's commitment to their love story made their elopement a true testament to the power of love.

The Quiraing provided a great backdrop for the photos I took of them. Every now and then a curious sheep would pass us by to see what we were doing. So cute!

To warm up Mathijs and Freya a little bit, I'd let them run onto the road a few times. Haha, this creates the most fun pictures!

After we had been shooting for a while, we saw a heavy rain shower approaching in the distance. We looked at each other doubtfully for a moment, but quickly decided to continue. My type of people! As we always say in The Netherlands: We are not made of sugar!

When the rain really started to pour, we decided to wrap things up. Perfect timing, because by now I had taken so many beautiful images of this lovely couple.
